The Amazing Library Race: Orientation Exercise

Welcome to the Library!  This is a place for everyone and it's full of spaces and services to help you.

- We are open at 7:45, and stay open to 3:15 (3:00 on Fridays).

- We have areas for quiet study, for group work, and for hanging out at lunch (but please eat before you enter).

- We have lots of computers and printers - including a colour printer when you need it.

- We have green screens and Mac computers for Video editing.

- We have 3D printers and a 3D printing club.

- and, or course, we have books, books, books for you to sign out and read for school or for fun.

Your library team is Mr. Bowering, Ms. McLeod, and Ms. Orynicz, and we're all here to help every day - with research, with tech and login issues, with adding print credits to your account, and of course, with picking books you will love.

Now, let's get to know the library through the Amazing Library Race!

  • Most of the missions require groups of three. You must stay with the same group and travel together to complete the tasks. Students are required to collaborate and share devices, so make sure that you take turns as necessary.
